Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy sets out how fees are finalized and how cancellations and refunds are handled for IJBA Verify online verification.

01 / Fees

When the fee is finalized

The verification fee is finalized and invoiced when an authenticator issues a definitive verdict of authentic or counterfeit. The fee is the amount (tax included) shown on this site and on the request form.

02 / Inconclusive

If the result is inconclusive

If the authenticator cannot determine authenticity from the photos and returns an inconclusive result, no verification fee is charged. An inconclusive result is not the client's responsibility.

03 / Additional photos

Requests for additional photos and automatic cancellation

If the authenticator requests additional photos, please submit them within 3 days of the request. If they are not submitted in time, the request is cancelled automatically and a ¥110 (tax incl.) administrative fee applies. No other fee is charged.

04 / Client cancellation

Cancellation by the client

Before an authenticator starts work (status: received), you can cancel free of charge from your account. Once work has started, the request cannot be cancelled.

05 / After issuance

Refunds after the certificate is issued

Once the digital certificate has been issued, the verification fee is not refunded. If the verdict turns out to be wrong, compensation is provided under the Misjudgment Compensation Policy rather than as a refund.

06 / Refund method

Refund method and timing

Where a refund is due under this policy, it is processed via the original payment method within 14 days of the refund being confirmed. Transfer fees are borne by us.
